Weekend results & xmas party news!

Hi all

A frustrating weekend again for the teams. The single team boys lost 1-0 to a a penalty vs Middleton Park and despite dominating for most of the match, couldn't make the breakthrough.

The two-team boys drew their first match 1-1 vs Colton Juniors whilst losing the second match 1-0, both matches closely contested.

Our plan for a xmas party is to go bowling at Xscape on the 12th December, 5pm. If your child can make it, please bring 5£ to training on Thursday night. note, food will be provided as part of the visit, if your child has any dietary requirements, please let me know on 07954 309434.

Finally, can you check your child's training jacket and make sure they have the correct name? A number have been getting lost over the past couple of weeks. Also ,if you dont have your child's name written on the label, then please add it.

Results from the weekend's matches

Hi all

Mixed results again at the weekend - the two-team boys lost 4-1 in their first match and won 1-0 in the second match against the league leaders Stanningley Albion.

The single-team boys dominated their match with Aberford but were unable to to take their chances and lost 1-0 to a goal on half time. A great effort from the team, especially considering a couple of them were struggling with illness.

Last weekend's results

Hi all

Not a good weekend for the teams, the 2-team boys lost 5-1 and 3-1 respectively in the cup to Colton whilst the single team boys lost 4-0 to a strong Tingley Tigers team.

The 2-team league had mixed fortunes, winning the first game 7-2 and losing the second game 2-0. The single team league had a much improved performance, only losing 1-0 to a strong Tingley Athletic side.
